As a Lyme disease survivor, my convalescence has been an ongoing process. When I was introduced to pickleball at a nearby YMCA, I became immediately engrossed in the sport. It rekindled my spirit and afforded me the opportunity to regain some of the mobility, movement, and hand-eye coordination that I had previously lost due to my illness.

Pickleball has proven to be an immensely transformative experience for me, and I am deeply grateful for the community that has supported me through my recovery.
